I set out chasing color and composition with a vibrant swirl of blues, a cascade of bright, joyful marks and somewhere in the dance of brushstrokes, an old friend emerged. That winding yellow S, curving through a dreaming blue landscape, as familiar as a childhood Saturday morning. The yellow brick road had found its way home, right onto my canvas. And honestly? I wasn't surprised at all. The Wizard of Oz never really leaves you… it just waits patiently, tucked somewhere between memory and magic, ready to reappear when you least expect it.
